RUBY is an English vocaloid created for the V4 editor by Prince Syo. It includes a single VB called Ruby Natural. RUBY is a young female voice with a strong tone and a general American accent. The voice includes GWL. RUBY has 3 articulation pitches thanks to the number of phonemes involved, most English vocaloids only have 2. It is more understandable than CYBER DIVA. Users should be careful when mixing their voice as it requires the same level of attention as a real singer. It tends not to handle higher notes as well as lower notes due to the particular accent and power of its range. Its dictionary is programmed to be able to speak 5,900 words, including the 3,000 most common in the English language, and around 100 random or user-suggested words. It was not developed with the same script as CYBER DIVA or other English vocaloids, so it has improved the phonemes and produces different results for CYBER DIVA. The amount of triphones it has per pitch is 500+, more than double the CYBER DIVA. It has extra phonemes like SeeU and MAIKA, however they are all allophones, which means that they allow a more natural American English, the editor does not use the additional phonemes by default. The extra phonemes included are: [R] (Earth), [4] (Better), [e @ 0] (land), [h \] (ahead), [?] (That) and [tSh] (Truly ) Some words have another pronunciation, in order to use the other pronunciation you have to add (2) to the note, for example the word "every" phonetically looks like this: [ev] [ri:], using the other pronunciation it is like this: "every (2) "phonetically it looks like this: [e] [v @r] [ri:] It has the most consonants of any vocaloid. Its phonetics must be sucked correctly. The final package size is quite large due to the amount of content, even for a single VB. He has a metallic sound in his voice, which is most noticeable in his consonants. Includes 3 dictionaries, one English, one Japanese and one Chinese. Her voice provider is Misha, who is also the voice provider for UTAU Makune Hachi.
